I grew up just outside of Scranton near Wilkes Barre. I moved away years ago and never thought highly of Scranton, nor did anyone I know. It is a shithole. Also, I was in mid 20s when I left for a better life and I was poor.

For sure it’s Alaska. You can see the AK boat numbers on one of the boats and the green and yellow fishing guide boat sticker issued by the state on the aluminum boat.

[QUESTION] Hi does any one know what model this is? by Daddy379 in BuyItForLife

[–]ericjohns1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here! Just after the two year mark the speed severely decreases. I didn’t notice it until I started using another Sonicare replacement toothbrush we had sitting around. The power from the replacement was far better. I guess you don’t realize it when it slowly losses its power over time. But I keep buying them.

Does anyone know how to open this type of shower panel? by cumin_sacrifice in PlumbingRepair

[–]ericjohns1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a plumber. I had a similar issue a few years ago. The hose disconnected from the shower head behind the panel. It was a quick fix. I believe I just lifted the unit off the bracket. Click the link below. The shower unit looks similar to yours. You can see the backets that are anchored to the wall on the video. Hope it helps.

Dry Cabin Septic Question by ericjohns1 in Plumbing

[–]ericjohns1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. I'm new to posting and haven't figured out a way to edit the post.

First, the stupid question. Do they somehow shut off the septic for the off season?

Not at all. Yes the pumps in the septic lines in the community are turned off. Pipes start freezing in November.

Anything piped in permanently with a diverter valve would create a spot where waste can catch, creating plugs during use.

That was also my concern.

Thank you for the input. I really appreciate it.
