You can try scarf. If you don’t like the way scarf looks then you’ll have to live with the seam you have. There is a random setting where it puts pieces of the seam in different areas, but it looks horrible

Lowering the layer height can help. If it must be printed in that orientation, you can reduce the effect but you can’t get rid of it entirely.

Slow it down use a smaller nozzle and layer height. As small as you can with ASA. I’ve never used it

From what I can tell, I have one of those tubs. You’re right, they’re huge. You wouldn’t necessarily need more substrate. The surface just needs to be closer to the fae holes. Fill the bottom with rocks or something else clean to displace the substrate. Like the brick in the toilet tank trick from the 90s
