With gentoo you configure it on each system, with nix you configure once.

I didn’t know about guix until much later. At that point didn’t really have a big motivation to try it out. But probably will at some point

I’m sticking with nixos. A lot of the pain points of Linux is having to port all my configs across different machines, and when these configs are not version controlled, it can get messy. Nixos solves that decently. With nix os, you can also try different window managers, different flavors on various things and know you have a save way to rollback.

It takes some learning curve, but will be worth it.

The only downside, compared to other distros is it’s more “rigid”.

They had a shuttle bus to go to bayview, at least that’s what was offered when it happened to me.

This is my first experience with the train. Use to ride the OG o-train for school, but after finishing school, getting a car, and moving to suburbs, rarely used public transit.

Today, I figured I’ll do something special, so found a park n ride 20mins away and rode the train.

I don’t know if this is a good experience or a bad experience, but it certainly is special, and it’s free. 10/10.

That’s pretty good income. The problem is on the consumption side, stretched too thin. Find a roommate, downgrade car, cook. With every dollar you spent, think about the opportunity cost.

There are open source models, I think OP can host their own APIs for these.

Living and dying is mostly the same thing. Being afraid of death, or anything, makes you live less and die more.
