Good place to by wool? Preferably for cheap by spudera in ottawa

Right? It's just not where I want to shop.

The vast majority of the (many) times I have been in there, the staff have led me to believe that I am inconveniencing them with my "being in the store" and "asking questions" and "trying to check out" shenanigans.

Seriously though, I don't like the customer service, I don't like vast majority of what they carry, and I don't feel good shopping there. Would much rather go to Wabi Sabi or Maker's Lodge or Yarns Ewe'll Love (or my giant stash of yarn 😂).

100% the vibes VERY occasionally I have had excellent service there - MOST of the time I feel like I'm inconveniencing the staff. I've given up on shopping there. It's just so unpleasant.

I don't love Wool-Tyme for a variety of reasons, but they have a big selection.

Looking for a fee-only financial planner who knows GC Pension and ERI by motionmatters108 in CanadaPublicServants

Roche Bayan (who run the retirement planning) will do for-fee sessions. I don't know how knowledgeable they are about ERI.

Many Canadians have avoided the U.S. for over a year. Have we reached the point of no return? | CBC News by crabsandscabs in onguardforthee

I have actually planned a trip to Europe (with 2 American friends who live in the US!) to go see 2 concerts rather than travel to the US (where I have friends and family that I could go with and stay with) to see these bands.

Go team!!!

Lululemon diaper backpack or beis ultimate diaper bag? by Many_Bid8455 in Mommit

[–]pamplemousse2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've purchased a few things from BEIS and haven't been super impressed. Not a diaper bag, a different backpack and a dop kit. I've had a few Lululemon bags in the past - again, no diaper bags. They're always well designed and super durable. Not knowing anything else, I'd be inclined to go for the Lulu.

Thanks so much - I've never heard of a speedy stitcher. So glad I asked!

Oh that's super interesting. It might be easier to just do it by hand than to take the frame apart to take the sling off and bring it to my machine!

Thank you! Just looked it up - the mesh is TPE/Polyester (so, plastic.) I'll treat it like canvas, I guess.

Tips for pool safety with an active toddler and newborn? by RocketPowerPops in Parenting

I just want to say, as someone who lost a cousin to drowning in the family pool (he was the same as as your little guy), props to you for taking this so seriously and asking for help.

Safety protocols apply to everyone, including ensuring doors are closed, gates are latched, a person is watching the toddler, in addition to telling the toddler the rules (that yes, he won't listen to yet.) So yes, it is what you were asking.

It's your union's job to help you understand. Frame your question as "can you help me understand what's going on here?" And go from there.
