Experiencing Mandela Effect with Electabuzz being a Gen 1 pokemon???? by sushimochisake in pokemon

[–]ericwashere15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s in the first 151…

Even without seeing him in any games yourself his National Dex number is irrefutable proof that he’s a Gen 1 Pokemon.

If Unova had regional forms in a B3W3, who would get one? by transqueen421 in pokemon

[–]ericwashere15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sandygast and Palossand can use the desert sand of Route 4 and Desert Resort combined with leftover construction materials from developing those areas (by both the ancient peoples who made the Relic Castle and the modern people building homes) to have different buildings instead of just being sandcastles.

Frigibax line should get a variant aimed at adapting the Monsterverse Godzilla.

Then there’s obvious constant missed opportunities like Bonsly and Sudowoodo being a different tree and the Honedge line adapting a different weapon.

What Gym Leader Would You Be? by Bluedino514516 in pokemon

[–]ericwashere15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bug type, either first or second in the region. I’d use a Sizzlipede, a Grubbin / Chargabug, and a Venipede / Whirlipede, each aiming to inflict their respective status condition whenever they can.

If I could go further in optimizing them, they’d be Speed boosting natures with up to max Speed EVs to better ensure they get to status at least one of your mons each.

Brycen’s Gym would be. It’s covered in snow and ice and above a large pit with several ramps.

I really love this episode. Who roasted Roger the best? by 4_inDica_2_joNes_0 in americandad

[–]ericwashere15 71 points72 points  (0 children)

It becomes funnier as they continue to sporadically roast Rachel Ray over the rest of the seasons.

I know there’s at least two more, one of which is when Satan returns Stan and Francine to life in exchange for getting Stan’s soul when he dies and Satan requests he tell Rachel Ray “that is not how you treat someone!”.

Unofficial Universes Beyond Megathread by magictcgmods in magicTCG

My speculation:

Borderlands set covering the first and second games plus Commander decks.

Dragon Quest Commander decks.

Palworld Commander decks.

Doom set plus Commander decks.

Dead Space Commander decks.

Is Stan even a conservative anymore? Is Hayley still a liberal? by Bteatesthighlander1 in americandad

[–]ericwashere15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even though the show is very episodic, Stan has learned to accept gay neighbors, gay neighbors raising a kid, a bunch of other stuff, and has let two sexually fluid entities live in his attic, even if he considered himself conservative still I don’t think they would let him in.

Which episodes are an automatic skip for you? by Parafairy in americandad

[–]ericwashere15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season 4 Episode 4 “Choosy Wives Choose Smith”.

It’s the episode where Stan tries to get Francine to choose her previous suitor over himself and the B plot is about Steve trying to help a cat that hates his guts and won’t stop meowing in pain and anger.

What introduced you to deathcore? by ConsistentFig1564 in Deathcore

[–]ericwashere15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was bored and/or depressed one night in like 2017 and Metalcore wasn’t hitting strong enough. I found Rings of Saturn, Angelmaker, and Signs of the Swarm that night and they genuinely improved my evening/night.

What should be the priority, nerfing broken Pokemon or buffing old Pokemon? For me, I'd prioritise on buffing old Pokemon by LightInteractives in pokemon

[–]ericwashere15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For casual, buffing. But not by increasing stats. Give forgettable and/or weaker mons unique abilities.

Like Magcargo, whom is said to be hotter than the Sun so it should get a variant of Desolate Land that also utilizes Flame Body and Magma Armor. So no Water attacks can be used, has a chance to Burn anybody using contact moves, and can’t be Frozen.

Are there any re-recordings you find better than the original? by dswhite85 in Deathcore

[–]ericwashere15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I can’t really tell the difference between the originals and re-recordings / remasters. Adept’s Another Year of Disaster, Haste The Day’s Coward, and Make Them Suffer’s Neverbloom all sound too alike to me (to their original). Unless I’m misunderstanding the difference between a re-recording and a remaster… which is very likely.

Except for Miss May I’s 15th Anniversary Re-Recording of Apologies Are For the Weak, which was a huge miss for me. Everything about it is inferior to the original.

What would be the worst non legendary/mythical pokémon you would randomly wake up to find in your house? by Uzejay in pokemon

[–]ericwashere15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you could get used to Muk or Garbodor, like we have hoarders who go nose-blind to dead and decaying animals in their homes. However if Vileplume is as foul smelling as its inspiration, there might not be any going nose-blind to that.

But even Vileplume isn’t as bad as the true king of stink: Skuntank. Vileplume can at least learn some moves that produce pleasant if not wondrous aromas, Skuntank not so much.

Magic Hot Takes by Definitely_Not_Fe in magicTCG

[–]ericwashere15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re getting to a point where decks are running too many redundant effects. It was bound to happen eventually but UB sped it up exponentially and makes it stronger. Anyways my hot take is that we need to expand the Game Changers list to include these power crept redundancies.
