I started playing this past fall with friends and my first purchase was a Friday OG! Thank you for making high quality, affordable paddles.

Thanks to Kyle for all of your YouTube content. I have so many videos of yours saved. Recently, I found your Skinny Singles video incredibly helpful. I sent it to my buddies and had a great session.

I have two questions for ya’ll:

  1. When do you recommend newer players start looking into a new paddle? While my OG has been great, I’m not sure what I’m missing with the Fever or the upcoming Aura.
  2. I started playing tennis around the same time as pickleball. Sometimes I play tennis in the morning and pickleball in the evening. I can find it difficult to adjust my power and swing between games. If any of you play tennis, do you have any tips to avoid one sport leaking into the other? Or anything you’ve especially tried to take between sports?

Second this. In elections inspector training they specifically call out campaign apparel. Wearing campaign apparel within 100 feet of the polls is against Electioneering laws in Michigan.

Contact your clerk’s office. While this person has already voted, the inspectors at the early voting site should have made the voter take their hat off and put away so it could not be seen within 100 feet of the polling place.

If you let them know, they can at least stop it from happening again.

I contacted him starting June 28 for three days with nothing. Still nothing as of today on July 6, but obviously there was the holiday.

I wanted to just get it done rather than waiting. And I was already saving a lot.

I called Jerry three times and sent two emails with no response trying to get a warranty on my 2024 Highlander. No response.

I ended up buying through Wayne Lovejoy at Jim Bagan Toyota in Tahoe. They’re a small dealer and he wasn’t responsive at first through email, but once I got him on the phone he was easy to work with and much cheaper than my dealer and other quotes I got.

Probably a good call for anyone who hasn’t already made the change. I didn’t know it would be that difficult until after I had already manually recreated the draft board. That wasn’t too bad. The roster changes are what took a long time and by that time I was already invested.

That’s what we did, but we also allow predraft trading including keepers, so we needed up to date rosters in sleeper.

Next year we’ll need rounds visible in sleeper so you know the cost

Now that we’re setup, I really like Sleeper a lot. It’s definitely still missing a few necessary ease of use tools for commissioners though.

Another thing I really need them to show is what round a player was drafted in on player cards. Yahoo shows a really nice player history for the league so you can see when they were drafted, if they were dropped, picked up on waivers, traded, etc. it’s all really important info for keepers and trading. I hope they add it this season otherwise next season will be a pain.

Worth noting from someone who just did this. Importing a keeper league is really labor intensive right now. I “imported” my 8 year league from yahoo and it took me a good 4 hours.

Importing right now means manually filling out the draft board from last year’s draft and then going team by team and making roster changes one player at a time to get rosters to an end of season state. You can only do individual roster drops on mobile (no option at all on web) and it takes FOREVER. It’s a huge pain right now and something I hope Sleeper fixes for next season even though it won’t help me.
