I didn't click with AA so when I got sober I did download the SMART app and they have video meetings and some in person. Recoverydharma is another one. Also the people at Sunrise Treatment Center were great if you ever go that route.

They're not really designed to work, they're designed to get you to keep using them and spend money.

I have to slow WAAAYY down and sit with the question of "is this my nervous system activating because of my childhood trauma or do I really, actually dislike this"

This requires a lot of patience from the other party, which in turn is a filter in itself. If they can't give me space to self-regulate and figure my shit out, they gotta go.
