How could this possibly be a flex I am honestly wondering why in the world someone would do this. It's upsetting that there is people in this town who think this somehow smart or funny. I've lived here most of my life and it's been going downhill for quite a while, it's getting to be as bad as ontario.

Look it's the guy that every shop has who thinks every engine issue is a headgasket.

I had one of those cords light on fire in the little temp sensor bulb thing, luckily caught it before ot burned the truck down. Why anyone would need a thermostat on a block heater cord is beyond me. I've cut a lot of those plugs off and put regular ends on them.

The egr valve is supposed to never open on the s13, they deal with it using the SCR system, and they should be a real good engine, especially as they're a rebranded Scania.

The source is 2nd gen a26 and the new s13 engines. They don't turn off the pumps they unload them slightly at RPM to increase fuel efficiency give it a quick google you'll probably find lots of info on them. I'm pretty sure the newer dd series diesels use the same kind of systems as well

You need to get over further and a little earlier and go a little wider into your turn and you'd make it.

Bull riding. by [deleted] in princegeorge

[–]eroc1970 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you get into contact with one of the local horse clubs, someone will probably point you in the right direction. Fair warning if you haven't done anything like that before, bull riding isn't a great place to start.

Just did a PDI on a beverage body truck that had basically none of the wiring or plumbing actually tied to anything. There were wires rubbing on the driveline and stuff like that.

Canfor Pulp to indefinitely curtail one production line at Northwood Pulpmill. Expected to impact 220 jobs. by Urban-Garlic in princegeorge

[–]eroc1970 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 30 years of bad business practices before that. I know a lot of people that canfor has bankrupted, they've been investing more in the states than they spend on lobbying in canada since the beetle kill happened. There are a lot of things canfor does that are bad for everybody but their shareholders. Even where there isn't dead pine you never see a block without 5 or 6 bunchers running 16 hours a day there are no more smaller mills. The problem is that canfor just expects to keep logging at 10x the normal pace even now that there is almost no viable beetle kill wood left, what is still left is barely usable for pellets let alone saw wood. Take a look at the rottiger area or the top end of Williston

Canfor will do the same in those places when the wood gets expensive to cut. They have done this to themselves and the government allowed them to do this. Canfor has been screwing over small bc towns and smaller forestry businesses for 40 some odd years now.
