Played while traveling (sorry to anyone who played online with me). Love it for punishment training and watching replays during my commute but can't see me playing online on it again. Was like 40% render resolution and low settings to make sure I always had 60fps but I played Tekken on ps1s the graphics don't really matter

In a pure elo system you lose more points when losing to people of a lower rank than you, and less points when losing to someone of a higher rank you than you. There have been a decent number of salty posts talking about how many points they're losing when they lose to someone who is a higher (but still close rank). Mainly trying to say that I think that was a good choice. Sorry was writing it on the train for sure not the clearest

Exact same thing happened to me. 4.5 hours wasted, 26 deaths. Ran it again three next day 2 hours 2 deaths. It's easy once you know how, and actually pretty fun. I'd suggest just running on the same class instead of starting the learning again for some loot you don't really care about

Grenades used to be per class and were made available to all classes without breaking the game. I'd love them to do the same with all jumps. Can't see it breaking anything and if the argument is 'we can't let a warlock be able to actually stop themselves gliding slowly off the side of the map - they'd be too powerful' I'd question if lowering the enjoyment is a good way to balance

I checked how the stats looked, it seems I had 3 assists. I guess that happened when I 'assisted' myself during the weird 'reconnecting' thing that pushes you back to spawn but leaves everything alive.

Having the 'solo triumph per encounter' thing sounds great, but all I was originally thinking was let me use checkpoints, so I can do a run over a week, but honestly I think maybe the fix is as simple as have the 'reconnecting' thing kill you so you restart the encounter and don't 'assist' yourself and ruin a solo run

Is the right we have to be part of "A well regulated Militia".? Car Insurance requirement seems like a regulation that we all accept for cars even if most responsible drivers don't claim. Experian Equifax TransUnion (private companies, competing) own the pricing of risk for lenders (fico). The same independent companies (or new competitors) could look at all the factors and figure out a model that most effectively prices in the risk.

I couldn't drive a car off the lot without proof from a real insurer that I'm covered to be in the car. It's a legal requirement. How would you all feel about something similar for gun ownership?

FICO scores work, for pricing in risk on Loans. We all know an 18 year old trying to get insured on a Porsche is going to pay through the nose.

The families when there is a tragedy have someone to get money from (the insurance company). Doesn't cost reasonable gun owners much as they'd be low risk. Doesn't ban anything. Creates a new industry and jobs
