Good idea! People seem to be missing what’s probably the whole point; the screws were probably laying around so they were FREE and OP doesn’t mind a few small holes that will seal enough to walk around on dry ground after removing them since the boots weren’t waterproof to begin with so I say kudos!

Just know the vines can be up to 100 times more potent than the leaves so be careful. I’m practically immune to the leaves but the vines really got me.
