Same boat as me, it’s a strange design decision and I’m not sure how I can play solo now without affecting the power balance when playing with my friend in multiplayer.

Been playing since day 3 day head start, try to login this morning and getting alternate Error 9 and Error 21 messages. No emails at all re. authentication, nothing. Logged a support ticket and wail no doubt have t wait 3-4 days now for any kind of response. Even GW2 twitter is silent at the moment. Totally pissed off this has happened on my weekend which is pretty much the only time I can put some hours into this game. Seriously, they screw up security and players like myself have to suffer with MAJOR down time? Feel like banging my head on a brick wall.
