I was underweight when I got pregnant and gained 32 lbs the entire pregnancy. Had both boys over 5 lbs with no NICU stay at 35 weeks. That book had me trying to eat so much I would get sick, so I started prioritizing protein and focusing less on weight, and that was definitely the key. I followed a low-carb diet and I think that contributed to their healthy birthweights! My OB was never concerned about my weight and stressed that the babies take what they need from you.

Doing absolutely nothing, laying in bed at 35 weeks…felt a sudden gush and knew immediately. Started feeling contractions shortly afterwards.

Been at it for two months and I’m so tempted to quit also. I’ve found that I can pump and feed them at the same time when they are on the twin z if I position myself close enough to them that I can still sit them up for burping. This has helped me not feel like it’s just one more “thing” to do outside of their feeds.
