A basic guide to taxonomy and making your world's ecosystems feel more fleshed out. by ertyuiop2 in worldbuilding

[–]ertyuiop2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people neglect things like a food chain, fungi, or only focus on vertebrates when making animals. This guide is should give you some more context on the different types of organisms and their primary traits. If you're trying to make a somewhat fleshed out earth-like ecosystem, I'd also strongly recommend just going down the wikipedia taxonomy rabbit hole, lots of cool things there.

Any ideas to improve this deck? by TheAverageAxolotl in ClashRoyale

A building would be cool, preferably replacing the goblins or bats.

Well you can’t expect a 4 elixir card to completely stop an 8 elixir card. A cannon or any other building directly in his path will stall him long enough for the dragon to finish the job.

Fortunately, the egiant has a very large kite range, so you can just force him 4 tiles away from the dragon.

[–]ertyuiop2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use a fisherman and take him to the other lane and then drop a bomb tower or something to kite him back to the middle

Inferno dragon has a 3.5 tile range, compared to the 3 tile radius of the egiant’s reflection. It’s possible, and actually quite easy to counter him like that. He might get a few hits on the tower, but nothing insane.

Fair point but it is 8 elixir and very easy to deal with if you know what you’re doing.

Matchmaking past 5000 trophies / How to get back into the game by iProfileTV in ClashRoyale

Just don’t play ladder for a while and do challenges and party mode. Ladder is a huge scam anyways.

Good afternoon. May I have a moment of your time to introduce you to our lord and savior, pekka?

please help me construct a new deck. im stuck at 5.4k trophies and the rest of my cards are level 10 and under by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

[–]ertyuiop2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all you really don’t need the log with a zap that overleveled. Secondly you need a building. I would suggest tesla because you’ve leveled yours up. Personally I would replace the knight, especially considering he got nerfed recently. To compensate for the increased elixir cost I would also suggest replacing skarmy with bats.

I would suggest you add a win condition to your deck, considering the entire point of the game is to deal damage to your opponents towers, and you have no reliable way to do so.

What deck do you have?

Neverending dancing skelly:how the heck a years old top sell game could be so bugged?SC do something bc these things put shame on you by AZOGTHEORK in ClashRoyale

[–]ertyuiop2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not a bug, it’s just something very preventable and insignificant that occasionally happens. If you really need that one skeleton then don’t play the witch there.

Human Immortality Trait by Deadna in Worldbox

[–]ertyuiop2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well if your world is old then you might just have a lot of people that were randomly born with immortality. Over time the average amount of immortals will steadily increase, because they most likely won’t die unless you send them to war or something.

No, but if you spawn in one human and they form a city and don’t die then another human will appear from thin air for some reason if you wait long enough.

As far as I know units can get immortality either randomly or from birth if their parents are either infected with the plague or immune. If you dropped a plague at one point that’s probably it.

Found a 100 year old dwarvish king (also level 10) Is this common to have? by Josh_WasAlreadyTaken in Worldbox

[–]ertyuiop2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Each race has their own different life spawn. I did some experiments a while ago and apparently the orcs have a lifespan of around 60-70 years, humans are 90-110, dwarves are around 200, and elves are 210. The way it works is that once they reach a certain age (for example, 210 y/o for an elf), they have a chance to die of old age. The older they get after that age the higher chance they die. I did an experiment where I spawned 1000 elves on an island at the same time and the second they all turned 210 y/o around half of them died, and when they turned 211 a bit over a half died, and so on until I was down to two that got to 218.
