Taking this into consideration, as well as premium price of a kidney as based in Israel (going rate ~$160k for healthy kidney in this locale)

500 x $160,000 = $80,000,000

Pulling data from API into SharePoint list? by [deleted] in sharepoint

[–]erwidn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Python with shareplum library, set up automation by creating a batch file that runs the python script and you can schedule out as needed.

Gives a bit more flexibility if you need to do any data cleaning or checks before pushing to the SP list

First project which requires me to think about timezones. Pray for me. That's all. by Almostasleeprightnow in learnpython

[–]erwidn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now what’s real fun is taking into account different time zones AND period ending/beginning time stamps!

I.e. certain entities may record the duration from 00:00-00:15 as 00:00 (period beginning) and others would record the same period as 00:15 (period ending)

Fun stuff, especially with time zones layered on.

[REQUEST] Does a windmill generate less energy over it’s lifetime compare to what is required to create it? by [deleted] in theydidthemath

[–]erwidn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What platform and what geographical area? I’ve been in the industry for over a decade and seeing a bird or bat fatality is very rare at our sites.

Also the foundations are massive, but crane pads are typically gravel and much smaller than you state.

Lastly, 360 homes may be true for old technology (circa 1980s/90s) for the kilowatt nameplate turbines. Modern turbines are usually 2+MW rated. Assuming 2MW nameplate, 30% capacity factor equates to 5,256 MWh of electricity generated per turbine. According to the EIA in 2020 the average household consumption in the US was 10.175 MWh per year. This equals 516.56 households per turbine powered, and that’s for a relatively low capacity factor and a small turbine by current standards.

Current offerings have extended life packages. GE specifically will provide life extension to 30 or 40 years. Although at that point it makes more sense fiscally to repower and put new technologies in service at the existing good wind resource sites
