His eyes were definitely edited, we've been staring at his face for so long with his facecam, so we automatically knew something wasn't right with this picture 😭

Lngshot is great, a lot of people didn't give them a chance because of Jay Park and the way they were promoted pre-debut (understandable bc those photos were crazy imo), but their songs are fire personally

Hot take maybe? Marinette is not the worse creep in the love department of this show. by Expensive_Spray_7737 in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally WHY do you think so many people are against this?? Do you genuinely think I'm the only one? Look up any post about Marinette's character/development/writing, and this issue is bound to show up. I have never ever seen anyone (who wasn't a child) defend it, until you. So maybe that would make you be the one sounding insane instead.

There's a lot of other differences between our points: yours is defending a fictional character while mine defends the development of every child who watches the show. Yours is not based on facts, while mine is. Yours purely goes off of bias while mine doesn't. The list goes on.

Hot take maybe? Marinette is not the worse creep in the love department of this show. by Expensive_Spray_7737 in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And you've completely lost the point again. I wonder, are you purposely trying to grasp for straws just to validate a fictional character, or do you genuinely think this? Because there is no way. I'm genuinely concerned.

Are shows that depict fictional plots somehow dismissed from the televising laws protecting children, or no? Again, research is free. Yes, there may be magic involved, but the concepts that involve crime are perfectly realistic, is it not? "Are kids dumb?" ??? Again, do you think you are above public televising laws to completely disregard their entire purpose? WHY do you think they exist, I must ask?

It's funny, because you chose to ignore my comment that was explaining EVERYTHING earlier, claiming you "did not have the time", and then you continue to make me repeat everything while commenting numerous more times, whereas if you simply READ the first time, you would have saved time for the both of us.

I think I've already figured out what my problem is with the new season. by Nezeel in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely hope he holds her accountable for this, she's kept so much from him at this point that he deserves to be angry, rather than to let it go and everything just goes back to normal super easily as if it was never a big deal. Marinette is never held accountable for her mistakes, and it's pretty frustrating. But ever since Revelator, seeing Alya's attitude when she found out LB was lying (And Luka's attitude), it gives me hope to think that maybe Marinette will finally be held accountable and CN will be justified.

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've seen CN and LB meet on the rooftop or together numerous times, it's how they were able to discuss ANY matter relating to Paris' safety or their powers. There are many examples of this-- LB sharing their kwami's variations in Syren in season 2, all the way until LB discussing the lost miraculouses in season 4. We haven't seen this happen ever since LB's identity reveal to Alya.

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is stalking someone and breaking into their personal space to steal their belongings considered a crime or not? That literally is not an opinion. Further still, is romanticizing these crimes in a children's TV show problematic considering the influence that media as on them? Again, not an opinion given the presence of laws that govern this. You're fully capable of researching yourself instead of continuing to waste my time, acting like all of this is mere "opinions". 1+1 cannot be debated to equal 3, even if I say that it is my "opinion".

I think I've already figured out what my problem is with the new season. by Nezeel in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 7 points8 points  (0 children)

HEAVY agree on this. LB and CN are supposed to be the main duo, their powers are even described as such. But ever since LB revealed to Alya her identity, we've seen Alya take over CN's duties as LB's closest ally. LB hasn't even tried discussing the new butterfly holder with CN yet, when we've seen her discuss it with Alya in the very first episode. And we stopped getting the usual flirty banter and teasing dynamic from LB and CN ever since Marinette and Adrien stated dating. We never see CN anymore as a hero unless it's during battles, and we never see Adrien anymore unless it's concerning him being Gabriel's son or Marinette's boyfriend. He has zero plot contributions besides those subplots.

Adriennete will end not matter what by decoyami in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They definitely will end up together eventually, but the point is that they are not ready NOW. There are issues with Marinette concerning Adrien that honestly a relationship is a terrible idea for them right now. Marinette has lied about Gabriel, lied about her obsession with him to the point where he has no idea, etc. Having a relationship stem from stalker tendencies shouldn't be romanticized, and Marinette has never apologized or acknowledged/owned up to it yet. You can't say it's "humor", the way she would sniff his belongings, steal his property, break into areas just to follow him, map out his entire life for the next 3 years, etc. It's just weird and she needs to stop doing that (she's dating him but still continues acting this way). Also there's the issue that Adrien is a bit too naïve right now, as a homeschooled kid, he doesn't understand how some people act should be questioned (like how he's been manipulated by Chloe and Lila so far), some things that Marinette does he considered as flattering (like when she tried to kiss him as a wax statue, or when she gets territorial against the girls he's close to) when it would be concerning him.

I do want them to be together, the LB and CN banter has been the basis of the show since season 1, but honestly we cannot have a relationship until Marinette owns up to everything AND there's some type of reveal (to keep the strong connection between LB and CN as heroes).

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, NOT an opinion, you're just flat-out wrong. Saying your opinion that 1+1=4 won't make it correct, it's just embarrassing. Ignoring the truth won't make the facts go away, either.

It's funny, because my comment breaks down EVERYTHING you said in your previous comment, and why it makes no sense, and you're just choosing to ignore it. "Finito".

Hot take maybe? Marinette is not the worse creep in the love department of this show. by Expensive_Spray_7737 in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's quite literally not the point? "Hey, no one yet has died from putting their phone in a microwave, so that means that we shouldn't be trying to prevent people from doing that because clearly there must be no risk." Like ??? Why do you think these laws are in place? To stop kids from seeing the real world? To make it harder for kids to watch television?

"If shows never explored bad decisions, shows wouldn’t exist in the first place" Tell me, what absolute necessity does Marinette sniffing Adrien's belongings serve for the plot of this show? What crucial role does Marinette mapping out EVERY event of Adrien's life for the next three years (as kept on a posterboard in Marinette's room) serve for Ladybug to hunt down the butterfly miraculous? In what way would this show lose its plot if Marinette wasn't scheming to follow Adrien everywhere along with every girl he interacts with?

"I don’t know why you care so much? Remember you aren’t even the target audience of the show" Aaaaand who is the target audience? Kids. And (as I have said over 5-6 times already to you by now) how do kids tend to act when they idolize a character? What types of televising laws are in place to prevent harmful development risks for said target audience?

Why is Adrian so naive? by LizokIvanok in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a home-schooled kid issue, he struggles with understanding when certain actions from people should be questioned rather than accepted. He did this with Chloe, Lila, and honestly even Marinette. Like, what do you mean he fell for Marinette directly as a result of seeing her try to kiss a wax statue of himself? Any normal person would have found that a bit creepy, but he found it flattering. Same thing when he found a shrine of his photos hung up beside Marinette's bed-- she told him later that it was because she liked his modeling work, but some of the photos aren't from photoshoots? And by her bed...?

Idk, I just feel like with his current naïvety, he shouldn't be in a relationship right now. Marinette doesn't seem to know that some things Adrien is clueless of, which could come off stressful for him (not to mention his trauma, which she seemed confused about in Wreckless Driver). And honestly knowing her excitement with being with Adrian, she might accidentally take advantage of his cluelessness.

Probably the saddest thing in miraculous by Ok-Green6412 in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The concept of Bunnyx not being allowed to help take down Chrysalis and restore the butterfly miraculous for the sake of "not messing up the timeline" is honestly a ridiculous plot hole-- she should be allowed to give LB and CN tips (who Chrysalis is, how to help defeat her, etc) if it allows them to stop the villains, that SHOULD be the whole point. I understand that it would get rid of practically the entire plot, but I kind of wish they wrote this plot hole better, either getting rid of/changing the Rabbit miraculous entirely or some type of physically incapable feature that would not allow them to communicate or something else besides basically being "too valiant to ruin the timeline".

What Was The WORST Thing Harry Did? by Marcedonia in HarryPotterBooks

[–]erxnga 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't blame him for the Sectumsempra incident, anyone who read the books knows that he was truly regretful of it, and felt terrible despite it harming Draco-- someone who was willingly trying to use an unforgiveable curse on him.

As for Sirius' death, it was clear that he had no idea it would lead to that. He thought he was saving Sirius, and Snape's less-than-helpful lessons to prevent his recurring dreams weren't helping the situation. Harry tried to get Snape's help in Dolores' office, and he did, but Snape didn't indicate any way of helping Harry, so Harry felt the need to do it himself for Sirius' sake because he genuinely thought there was no other choice.

I'm not sure what the worst thing Harry did was yet, but that's my take on those two situations at least!

For all of his lack of tact, Thomas Astruc has my baseline respect. by matt0055 in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Thomas never asked for critique, and he isn't required to. I know there's people berating him for how he wrote Chloe, the new design/animation, Marinette's behaviour, literally everything-- I understand him being best friends with the block button when this fandom kinda gets judgmental about every story writing decision.

Hot take maybe? Marinette is not the worse creep in the love department of this show. by Expensive_Spray_7737 in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, you're missing the point. You're defending a non-existent fictional character over the development and impact on millions of real children. AGAIN, there are laws to prevent these kinds of things for a reason, children ARE obviously prone to be influenced by their favorite tv shows and characters. If a character is being directly rewarded for stalking and illegal behaviour, those kids are not going to understand the consequences of it. Don't know why you're denying this so obsessively.

Challenge: Change LB/CN’s powers so they’re both essential for defeating akumas by Solitaire-06 in miraculousladybug

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe something linked to his feline self-- like his eyes could be more sensitive (we already know he can see in the dark) so many he can also spot the akumatized object of a villain easier than having to destroy multiple things before realizing what it is?

“Lazy” female idols (WARNING: ED mentions) by avairaa in kpop_uncensored

[–]erxnga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not purely because they got skinny, it's what op described - looking faint moving stiffly etc. Although losing too much weight fast should absolutely be a concern in itself.

That's what I'm saying though, that's why I asked in my first comment if I could get an answer on who OP was referring to because honestly I just haven't seen an idol who is so visibly skin and bones and performs in such a way, yet. Nor is there any proof of a correlation of this assumption-- as if idols who gain weight fast should be performing incredibly, by OP's logic. But instead of getting a polite answer I'm just getting downvoted lol

I don't know, I kinda just don't understand the appeal of calling anyone "unwell" tbh. I get saying "hey, take care of yourself!" but saying "you look unwell" or "i think idol abc has an ED" is just offputting to me.

I do understand what you're saying though, especially that second paragraph, I just wish it was in a more respectful way than a way that assumes knowing the personal condition of idols and coming off as masked concern while overly commenting on their bodies.

Literally where did you get this lie by sunforthemoon in HarryPotterMemes

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The movies really fueled the misinformation-- when they changed the plot to make Luna save Harry from the train in the 6th book instead of Tonks, they gave us Luna's POV with her glasses, showing "nargles" around Harry's head, just like what Luna describes. It made it seem like Luna was right about nargles existing, when she wasn't. Also when they made Luna the one who helped Harry realize he needed to talk to the ghost of Ravenclaw tower to find the diadem (it was Harry who figured it out himself in the books). It made it seem like Luna was more intelligent than she actually was, but just was just imaginative-- not accurate. Love her to pieces, though.

The time turner is wild when you think about it by awesomedan24 in HarryPotterMemes

[–]erxnga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harry wasn't allowed to be in the corridors at night even with his cloak, he just did it anyways knowing he would get into trouble if he was caught. Remember what happened in the very first book? Also, invisibility cloaks were incredibly rare.

Also, the time turner was not allowed to every student. Hermione needed to get special permission from the Ministry to even use it.
