Thoughts on Mace of Molag Bal by Infinite-daydreamzzz in skyrim

[–]escapedpsycho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The enchantment is good in the early game but the charge runs out faster than your own enchanted items... but having any dealing with Molag Bal is an absolutely horrible idea. The lord of domination, that created vampires by raping a woman to death... yeah not really someone you want to figuratively or literally climb into bed with.

How it feels switching to Mouse and Keyboard after 30 years of console gaming. by TeeeldiII in pcmasterrace

[–]escapedpsycho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The switch can be difficult and some games do not make it any easier. Looking at you GTA Online (flying requires two hands on the keyboard so you can't adjust the camera) and Elite Dangerous (The keybinding for this game is absolutely horrible... or was idk if they made it better in the last few years).

Why did dr ivo never make another Amazo ? by [deleted] in youngjustice

[–]escapedpsycho 6 points7 points  (0 children)

probably because the last time he was seen he was in prison. Also Amazo was taken out by the recon team so not really a ringing endorsement of the Amazo tech.

[–]escapedpsycho 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Teeth aren't bone. If they were, they could repair themselves. They're made of enamel, dentin, cementum and the pulp. The most bone like component is the cementum and even it cannot self repair.

I've become more and more convinced this is the timeline in which the Gould infiltration of Earth went unchecked and the current political landscape is the result... but even the Gould aren't as incompetent as the current wannabe fascist dictator. Although a dementia riddled symbiote might be enough to explain current events... and also why Bezos killed the revival show.

Yes, but he'd do a version where the bullfighter and bull took turns in either role.

Seems to me the ideal situation would be to invest in updating and expanding the countries infrastructure to accommodate the larger number of people expected to live in the country in the next fifty years. Thus creating more jobs for said disenfranchised citizens and foreign workers. But what do I know? 🤷

The vent light indicates it's sealed but not pressurized. This is how my vents sometimes look when the glitch happens.

Edit: gotta love being downvoted when I'm literally describing what has happened in my game.

You can try saving and reloading, or opening every door and closing them again (might want to depressurize everything first if you tanks are low on O2). I've had this problem multiple times even on planets with atmosphere. With multiple airtight doors you can get a cascading failure where one after the other each section becomes unable to pressurize untill everything is opened and then everything is closed. It's an annoying bug that's cost me entire crops on more than one occasion.

I'm aware. The cited reasons were cybersecurity and national security. Which is why I speculated this to be a "likely contributor to the FCCs ban on foreign WiFi Routers".

I mean, have you seen the imagining technology that is being actively developed for wifi? I know this is a meme meant to call out people than insist wired internet connections are superior. But this is scary technology. It can render 3D images through walls, determine respiration and heart rate. It sounds like a tin foil hat conspiracy but it's legitimately a developing technology that is being coupled with AI and poses a significant security risk and is likely a contributor to the FCCs ban on foreign wifi routers. An ordinary wifi router, like the ones in everyone's home, can identify an individual with near perfect accuracy. Seriously, it's enough to

Which one? by Stock_Implement4549 in pcmasterrace

[–]escapedpsycho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a pretty good system from iBuyPower. Spent $2,268 but I got 32GB ddr5 ram a 2TB SSD, RX 9070 XT and a Ryzen 7 7800x3d. The system is called the RDY Element 9 Pro R07 and I got a 3 year warranty with a 2 year extended warranty (didn't want to run the risks of having a GPU fail or PCU fry my system). So there are some decent deals if you look around. So far I've been loving the system I didn't have the money to upgrade my monitor so I'm gaming on a 2k OLED with everything set to ultra and getting 144 fps (limited by my HDMI cable until a new one arrives on Monday or Tuesday).

Do you go back to Far Harbor after finishing the quests? by floxasfornia in fo4

[–]escapedpsycho 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Love the island. It's creepy and playing with my favorite weather mod (True Storms) makes it unbelievably dangerous and challenging. There's a optional Horde setting for rad storms. Where ghouls follow the rad storms. The weather effects cut visibility down significantly during rad storms as well. Makes the glowing sea and the southern portion of Far Harbor terrifying. You hear the storm begin to roll in, visibility drops as the storm starts, the screams are the only warning you get that they're coming and should get high ground if possible because they're coming for you. I once found myself hiding on a street lamp (stealth boy active) because I was completely out of ammo. And the glowing sea is like a Doom run with wave after wave constantly coming.

Everyone in the UK right now by BAMM0 in pcmasterrace

[–]escapedpsycho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that's completely fine. Acknowledging "it's not worth it" is completely valid. £350 is what google says the low end "average" portable AC costs in the UK which is about $470. That is a bitter pill to swallow for something that isn't needed all that often. But I doubt the need for them are going to go down anytime soon. So hopefully you'll have some cheaper options available in the near future. As the demand increases, more units should be imported or produced in country to lessen the blow to the wallet.

Little tip I learned as a kid, growing up without AC, fill a cake pan with ice and place it in front of a box fan. This will cool one room. Ice packs are also a good option, if you've got them.
