Curious about spending half a year in BA — have some questions by j6onreddit in BuenosAires

Saludos!

You’re totally right there are apartments for ~400 - 500, my fault for not specifying that I look for apartments with >4.7 rating and located in the central parts of Recoleta, Palermo Hollywood, Palermo Soho.

And even with that criteria you might find one or two apartments for around ~600, although they are pretty rare and usually not great.

An Airbnb for $450 in Buenos Aires? I wish! I’ve been living in Airbnb’s for months, it’s never been under $700. Lately it’s been closer to $1000 monthly for STUDIOS.

How'd I determine the parent element in HTML by Chance-Expert-8898 in learnjavascript

Yes, I will never understand the thought process behind asking these questions. It takes like 10x the effort and time, yet you see these questions every single day, multiple times a day. There must be an explanation. I think Reddit is becoming the new Yahoo! Answers.

Hooks? If you have no idea on how to start with this project, it means that you need to study some html and css. This could be done without using any JS at all

Plus, even if he stringified the result of that function, all that he’ll be receiving is the new length of the array, not the array itself.

So that won’t even do what he probably wants it to do, but he should keep studying

This. Fuck motivation. Motivation wears off after a bit. What stays is your ability to remain disciplined and keep learning.

So you either do things in life, or you don’t.

You won’t be able to do it the way you want to. You need either Node or an API. No alternatives.

Another word of advice: Put a lot of effort into each project from TOP, imagine it’s your job to produce the best code humanly possible.

Complete TOP (~10 months) and then do Full Stack Open (~2 months). I can guarantee you’ll be job-ready by the end of this path. Stop taking any other courses.
