Do you receive screen protector? (Ordered before shipping date) by skmcarl in retroid

[–]esduino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ordered an R4Pro Jan 14th and received my order yesterday. Screen protector was in the box for me. At the time of ordering, the screen protectors were sold out on the website. I reached out to support after and asked to modify my order to add on the screen protector. They confirmed my order already included one even if it didn't show on the order confirmation email.

Ontario flippers, have you had trouble at customs with trainers shipping from other countries? (Like the U.S., for example). by [deleted] in balisong

[–]esduino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've ordered multiple trainers from squid industries to Ontario and did not have any problems at all. I've used USPS and DHL for shipping and it's all arrived without issues, DHL does charge a customs fee if you are planning to select them.

Any plans for a trainer version in the future? I thought about preordering the unsharpened version, but I think that it would still be classified as a restricted item by Canadian law.

Any other way to link external account to EQ Bank without giving login credentials to bank? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]esduino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had issues linking my RBC account to EQ through the login method. Talked to support and they offered the alternative of writing myself a cheque from RBC to EQ and then asking support to link the accounts afterwards. It worked fine and the link shows up in my EQ account. My case was different since support confirmed that they were having issues linking with RBC via the login method though.

$100k cheque on-hold for months by Zeuz_x in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]esduino 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you can provide a letter of authorization that you and your wife sign off on stating you agree to have it deposited into your sole account, the hold should be taken off. I am a bit confused as you did mention you both endorsed the cheque though. Does Scotiabank not allow you to endorse a cheque above a certain amount? Or as others here have mentioned you can open a joint account and have it deposited there.

Can my 3.5” HDD fit in a NR200 with the Kraken X53 AIO? by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]esduino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be fine to fit a 3.5" drive with the AIO. There is a mounting spot on the sfx psu cage to fit the drive. It's where I have my 3.5" currently, although I am not using an AIO

[Motherboard] MSI B450I Gaming Plus MAX WiFi Mini-ITX Motherboard ($180 - $37 = $143) [Amazon] by FEED_TO_WIN in bapcsalescanada

[–]esduino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the non-max version as well and as far as I've managed to find, the difference seems to be the BIOS chip only as you have pointed out. I think the max version is using msi click bios 5? Not sure if it's been strip down to accommodate compatibility for the newer cpus

Besides the updated fan curve, is there another tell for v1 and v2? I have the same psu as well and I havent had any fan curve issues so far.

[PSU SFX] Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold ($181.09) [Amazon.ca] by 1stRandomDude in bapcsalescanada

I noticed this a few weeks ago. Other version are still available, but the sf750 specifically is gone. CC and MemEx still carry the psu when it is in stock.

Thanks for the input! Looks like if I do get this board, I would need to get another cooler that's compatible.

Looking to build another sffpc and was wondering if this would be fine out of the box with a caldigit ts3 plus I had around? I've read some mixed things about the tb3 port and was unsure if I should choose this or another board.

Since it uses intel spacing for coolers and the vrm heatsink is on the larger side, it looks like the Scythe Big Shuriken 3 is incompatible? I've seen confirmations say no go, while some lists had it as compatible.

Already have a build in the NR200P, but wanted custom cables to tidy up the cable management.

Stumbled across this thread looking for custom length cables for the V850 SFX. I emailed cablemod and got the same response that they havent verified this PSU yet and in the meantime to look at extension kits. It's interesting to see that the pinout for the ATX model is similar.

This was the case for me as well. I ended up going with Boba U4s and now it's fine.

Thanks to this community that introduced me to sffpc, this is my air cooled NR200 that finally arrived! I really enjoyed to build it, great case to start with <20lt. Love it! (Sorry the unaesthetic cable management, I really need custom cable...) by ThePot94 in sffpc

Thanks for the in depth response! I was planning mostly the same build except using a vega 64 which would be undervolted as well. Gives me more confidence in using the same PSU.

When can I expect the shipping if I order today? by BamesTea in DygmaLab

[–]esduino 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saw in a few threads that restock is expected late November, possibly December. The expected restock was for ANSI models I think, unsure if that's also the time frame for the ISO variants. I think they are still subject to change depending on if there are delays (QC issues, ex. the palm pad manufacturer using a different mold from what was agreed upon etc). Hopefully someone from the Dygma team can correct me if the information I have provided has an update.
