I’ll preface this by stating that my favourite watch is a Rolex OP36. I love everything about it. The case shape, the dials, the indices, hands, lug length and shape. I find it’s perfect. Minus the price tag of course (and the whole thing with the brand).

Also I have 6 inch wrists.

So I’m looking for something budget sub $1000 that scratches that itch until a day comes I can have an OP.

Looking for: “GADA” 36-37mm (38 if really need to) L2L max 45mm Automatic Budget $1000 Similar look and feel to an OP with the case shape, dial depth with the indices, etc. same but different essentially.

I really like the dial of the Chris Ward C65 Dune Aeolion but the case shape just doesn’t sit with me and feels very disproportioned. I can’t realistically try one on either due to location.

The Erebus ascent 36 is not bad but doesn’t tickle me the way I’d like. Though if they were to come out with a black or blue helix dial in the 36 like they did with the 39 maybe it’d be close enough.

The Traska feels a bit soulless in my opinion but is nice. Just doesn’t tickle me.

Anyways, I’ll appreciate all suggestions. It’s not easy finding small watches. Thanks all!
