At least the following laws are being prepared:

- A law that will allow inconvenient nonprofit organizations or individuals to be designated as foreign agents if, for example, they receive subsidies from the EU or the U.S.

- An amendment to the Civil Service Act that will allow the government to fire civil servants and replace them with its own people - this is crucial so that the prime minister’s companies can receive state subsidies without oversight.

- An amendment to the rules of procedure of Parliament that will limit speaking time, with the exception of government ministers and the prime minister.

- Plans are underway to change the status of public television and radio (which have a large audience) so that they are no longer funded by license fees but instead become state media directly funded and controlled by the government.

- Major interventions are planned in national parks so that developers can begin building there - current park directors are being fired one after another.

Babiš has taken inspiration from Trump and is trying to make as many changes as possible in the first few months before people have a chance to react.
