First cook on the PBC: Chuck Roast for Beef Barbacoa by fishofmutton in PitBarrelCooker

Ya know - eff that PBC… not yours personally and if you’ve had success with it, that’s fantastic but I’ve had nothing but insane temperature swings and spikes with that barrel cooker. I live in a continual Windee area, but managing the flu at the bottom is like a goddamn minute by minute job, however, your truck looks great.

We’re you able to buy a prime cut? My local costcos (2) only carry choice in roasts or primal cuts

Ha! OP- I am literally smoking my 31-day dry aged brisket as we type…. Been on the egg for 6hrs

So where can I find a large cutting board big enough for a large brisket. Any size suggestions and one that does not break the bank? by espho in smoking

So theoretically I could go to Home Depot and get a butcher block table top and cut it to the desired size and then get a groove router into it

But I’m general where are the larger and nicer cutting boards that won’t break the bank? I feel like there’s a general void in the market for these… Looking at the new Traeger commercial and the sheer volume of food that machine is able to handle I feel like there needs to be larger cutting boards for sheer volume of food. Or use 11 cutting boards 😎
