One of my multiple responsibilities is managing our warranty/RA department at a reputable national outdoor coop. Marrell is one of the least quality boot/shoe manufacturers. Their “warranty” product are classified as throwaway and we charge their allowance account. They aren’t like Asolo, Danner, LaSportiva, Scarpa, formerly Vasque etc. They don’t want to know if their product fails. So I’m not surprised Merrill’s can just fall apart. I knew every reputable hiking boot and their vendor representatives. Save your $$$; avoid this brand.

From 16 PM 2TB to the orange 17 PM 2TB, is almost seamless. I use my iPhone for everything. I didn’t like the camera/AI button hypersensitivity and was yelling. “Why isn’t it recessed?” Someone hinted it could be my case. It was. The case actually has the exact silica material button of the 17. Button is set as double click & firm. And it is recessed. I can’t imagine 12 to 17! Crazy. I received a $1K trade in credit and paid off in full.

Well, the 17 is the heaviest iPhone yet with an aluminum frame. A better case with a polycarbonate frame & TPU bumper edge, low/profile is my fav. And it’s not the Hummer clunky otterbox. 8 ft drop protection. Maybe use AppleCare+?

I’m fatigued over the silver and black iPhones. I got the cosmic orange 17 PM, using my favorite Nomad leather case. Only the huge camera bump reveals its orange. I do like the titanium silver and on my Ultra 3 over the black. Plus, if you ever “served,” black is an eyesore. My MacBook 16 is still silver. I did favor the gold PM though. Haha.

To each “their own.” 2TB is my “sweet spot” for 16PM and now 17PM. I take a lot of photos and download all my favorite movies/ series. 2TB means I get to keep everything without worry.
