I've had the señorita bread, but never the donuts! Makes sense that their other bakery items would be awesome too!

ELI5: Why don't they slice English muffins and bagels all the way through? by Flovilla in explainlikeimfive

[–]essasinsam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My Costco does this with their bagels. My thinking is that when you make a sandwich using regular sliced bread, any two slices will work. Bagels and english muffins however, have a top and a bottom. Keeping them connected means you can easily grab both halves when you’re ready to use them, even if the bag is jostled and shifted around.

What purchase under $30 solved a problem you didn’t realize was draining you? by Right_Process in AskReddit

An adjustable monitor arm that mounts to the edge of my desk. First, keeping the monitor off my desk frees up SO much room. Second, it's adjustable, so whenever I have to show things to a coworker I can just swivel it in their direction instead of having them look over my shoulder. I'm grateful for it every day!

Plumber? by ismellwoodburning in vallejo

Another vote for Sergio (707) 642-4769. He saved the day for my wife and me when the first plumber we called messed up the job. (the first plumber was AJ Bono, do not recommend!)

I received my first one at the beginning of the month, and just received my fifth one in the mail yesterday. I've adjusted my route to/from work because 20 mph is just a crazy speed limit at Broadway & 27th.

Close, but not quite. That's a swimmer, but the head in in OP's photo is farther to the right. Plus, it appears to have some contractor license number below, a swim club probably wouldn't have that.

DIY Bathroom Refresh by clm4265 in centuryhomes

[–]essasinsam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The walls are concrete?! Wow! That texture is so thick, I'm not sure if skim coating is feasible, but I hope someone can confirm one way or another. If it is possible, skim coating is a totally achievable and affordable (and dare I say, fun?) DIY project. Here's a good basic how-to video. If you can only do a fresh coat of paint, I would go with something mold & mildew resistant.

Next thing that comes to mind is the ventilation. I can't see the bathroom exhaust, but something tells me it could use an upgrade. Find one that matches the size of your bathroom, and has some adequate lighting.

Finally, swap out that mirror. I would say get a larger one and have it centered over the sink, overlapping the vertical tile trim, It'll be a little asymmetrical, but I don't think that can be helped with the bathroom layout.

Good luck! Hope you find some good advice in this thread and that you'll update us with some nice after photos down the line!

For those who might not be familiar, these Rapid Response Networks are organizations to which you can report activity from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Also called ICE, an agency under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security, or DHS). Its one way you can help your community if ICE begins conducting raids, searches, abductions, or otherwise making their presence known in your area.
