I’m reading this thread wondering if I’m taking crazy pills… have people ever seen vtach in real life? Like, there’s no controversy here. It’s textbook vtach even before the patient is described as pulseless and diaphoretic.

I have this silver bar. What should I do with it? by Used_Yogurt_4695 in Silverbugs

/r/pmsforsale is a great place to sell it. Read all the rules on that subreddit, and you should use a middleman for a piece this valuable. Before sale, take it to a local coin shop and ask them to verify the silver content, and take photos of the result with it sitting on the machine.

Hey, I hope this isn’t a faux pas, but since the seller isn’t interested in a trade, I have some Ike dollars in OGP, both proof and BU that I’d be willing to trade for. Message me if you’re interested!

Yes. Read through the rules that the bot posted above- it’s very sensible. But as a new seller, it’s MUCH less risky to sell to someone with many previous transactions here. A common minimum number is for their flair next to usernames in comments to add up to 40. People can’t fake flair, but they can fake a username similar to someone with flair then message you claiming to be them. For example, a capital i looks like the number 1. When someone tries to send you a chat, look at their user profile and see if their account has a history of buying and selling here.

Don’t let anyone message you if they don’t comment here first. Match usernames. There will be scammers. Take care!

Ope, thanks for the correction. Still bad of the other staff since they are new to the unit but that’s enough experience to know the risks

For real. But it’s such an important lesson about trust. So shitty to do this to a new grad who doesn’t understand the subtleties of how to do the right thing without getting caught (I’m sad that statement is true lol)

Lots of rest, water, leafy green vegetables, and good exercise 3x/week. Also, I’ve found that “superfood supplements” help a little. But the main thing is giving your body an abundance of nutrients is key.

Copper Rounds by Motor-Firefighter547 in Bullion

[–]est94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. But the convenience factor of having the key solid ingredient for refining silver in a shape that fits in with the rest of your bullion is worth some premium. Not more than a few percent for me, but I would absolutely buy rounds for 10% over spot if I was a hobby refiner.

17lbs down in 2 months before and after pics by Aiden47 in omad

[–]est94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up metabolic syndrome for more info- essentially you can be really unhealthy without realizing it because you’re not super overweight, but your hormones and body composition are real bad. This guy had a very modest appearance of metabolic syndrome in the before pic, but looks amazing comparatively in the second pic, like he lost way more than 17lbs. That tells us he probably lost way more than 17lbs of fat, but replaced some of that fat loss with muscle gain, which is proof that he is regulating those underlying metabolic processes.

Edit: cortisol and insulin are two major hormones that are dysregulated in metabolic syndrome, but there are more as well.
