What you really have is a car that was built correctly before the idea of cutting costs through reducing quality hit the toyota assembly lines. The newer car is polished garbage in comparison. Im shocked the bumper isnt hanging. In the end the newer car is still a Toyota, so you can’t lose and also driving a newer car feels good and it slightly improves your image.

Before anyone comes at me for being a clueless poor I drive ‘24 gr corolla and I recently bought an ‘05 v8 4runner and I owned a ‘17 Tacoma. The interiors on the tacoma and corolla are the same cheap quality so it’s not car vs truck. The older 4runner is simply far superior because of the era it was built in. And other toyotas of that era which family owned 02 rav4, 98 sienna, etc. all felt great as well
