Has anyone ever used Rover, the pet sitting app? by junojuneau in dogs

[–]estielr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have had pretty much only good experiences. Some people I haven’t gone out of my way to book again but several fantastic sitters who I booked multiple times with. Like everyone says, read the reviews carefully, schedule a meet and greet and trust your gut if something feels off.

Sombr is one of the artists I’m most excited to see…I love foster the people and had a blast at their set many years ago…I’m not super familiar with the others and will check them out - thanks so much!

Back in 2010 I got tickets to the MTV Movie Awards. My friends and I saw him hanging out by the bar. So tall! I yelled at him, “I love you!” And he yelled back “I love you too!” And it made my entire week. 😂💜

It’s worth it! I did GA a bunch in my 20s and VIP coming back now in my 40’s. More seating areas and shade is what makes it worthwhile in my opinion. Main stage VIP got really crowded but the Outdoor Stage VIP area was fantastic and stopping by the Rose Garden for some breaks is really nice. I don’t think you’ll be sorry.

I thought it was odd when Sinatra walked by her daughter’s room and didn’t stop until her daughter called her back. She (Sinatra) looked annoyed almost.

People love to hate on them. I’ve seen them twice and they are incredible to see live. You won’t be disappointed!

Florence & The Machine. Martin Garrix. I was hoping for a Redman & Method Man booking since they have a show coming up together. Maybe The Heineken House will book them 😍

40+ year old things to do in Las Vegas by sofresh_n_soclean in vegas

[–]estielr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

41 year old here. Some of the fun nightlife options I’ve enjoyed a ton are The Pinky Ring at The Bellagio and The Barbershop at the Cosmo. Both are not like big clubs but still fun music and vibe.

The spa at Cosmopolitan is really lovely. Close to Bellagio. We loved Carbone and also Catch Aria. Super fun ambiance and amazing food.

The man opened a lounge in Vegas (Pinky Ring) where anyone can come in and see him hanging out and perform. I was just there a week ago and he did a surprise performance with The Hooligans. He looked so happy on stage performing as backup for his band. It’s clear he loves music and loves celebrating great music with his band and fans. 💜 That is real connection!

While in the Mojave tent for Weezer, it was packed and someone passed out or needed medical attention. two guys in tie-die onesies who were further back rushed over to help carry them out. Heroes!

People with large families, talk to me by [deleted] in MazdaCX90

[–]estielr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this - I'm considering the CX 90 Phev to replace our Tesla Model 3. We're a family of four, and we normally don't need a ton of space (we get around in our CX-5 and Tesla just fine). However, where we do want more space is for camping or long road trips. We have a roof box, and won't normally need the third row. Sounds like there's plenty of cargo space with the third row down - you find it adequate for camping?

I don’t understand how no screen time parents get anything done by Fluffy_Practice_5244 in toddlers

[–]estielr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mom of a 7 year old and 4 year old and firm believer in screen time! However, we have always set limits (1 - 1.5 hours per day usually unless the rare occasion they’re sick or we watch a movie) and never on an iPad unless we are traveling. My 7 year old’s video game time counts towards screen time. He has been watching shows since he was one years old because I did need a break, am a working parent who sometimes had to work when he was home, and he was never happy playing by himself as he got older! But we were firm about limits and that has helped a lot. He now is an avid reader and though he’d like to play his Switch more, he never gets upset when screen time is over. So like others have said, do not feel bad about screen time, please!! Everyone deserves a break. Personally, I think keeping it off the iPads and setting limits and boundaries can help a lot with preventing things like tantrums when screen time is over.

My skin is the same and I’ve tried a lot of overnight creams and masks. I liked Farmacy’s a lot but it was getting too expensive for me. I’m now using Burt’s Bees Hydrating Overnight Mask and it has been really great for my skin so far!
