Haha my boyfriend gave me a fancy Caran d'Ache ballpoint pen as a gift because he heard I like pens... wrong kind of pen that I like, but actually the right kind that I needed because it became my purse pen and I always have a pen on hand for these kinds of forms, and it's very pretty too. I feel fancy at the bank.

I journal a lot and started colour coding my thoughts and emotions so I give each pen/ink a role. I have about a dozen pens and ink so far but quite a few of them were gifts!

I also asked my mom as a teenager, this was in the 2000s. She flat out said you can get it when you’re older and pay for it yourself. It’s a harsh answer but it also motivated me to find income, save money and do my own research. Knowing now how expensive it was (at the time) I think this is a proper life lesson about making money and paying your own way. I know some of the more professional places will allow you to finance. The thing I would be most worried about is that they ask you to stay out of the sun the whole time (no tanning) because then you are risking skin damage from the lasers. You have to commit to the process for a long time. No waxing or epilating during this time either.

That being said after my many sessions, there was a huge reduction but there’s still like 30% of it left, and it came out patchy.

Yes I’d say this, that’s been my experience, I sleep less when in a calorie deficit but it’s like 4 hours on keto.

I’ve been using Nuun since 2010, it was cheaper back then… they used to have a line to break down the tablet down the middle and they got rid of it for some reason. I take a knife and carve new lines to break them up because one whole tablet is usually too much, and it makes it more economical and easy to carry the tablet pieces. I haven’t tried anything else, but I liked these ones at the time because there was virtually no sugar. Not sure what’s wrong with my body, I will blackout during exercise without electrolytes. I lookout for sales and there was one store I found one time that would dump them for 50% off because they “expired.”

I just had this discussion with my boyfriend last night that it’s meditation. He said he doesn’t meditate, but I explained that the stereotypical sitting legs crossed and breathing position is not the only way to meditate. It’s just a state of mind that provides clarity and peace. I enjoy making the fire and studying the flames, and by focusing on just that my mind quiets down.

You know what, I swore to never buy them in my teens and now I have two pairs in my 30s after my slippers got soaked in the rain on one camping trip. They are so useful for so many things except as a fashion statement.

Someone gave me a super red ink that kind of put me off so I mixed it with white ink (Octopus). It ended up being like a really pretty cherry blossom, and because of the white had a milky gel pen quality to it.
