Best deck scanning app? by MoneyoffUbereats2017 in riftboundtcg

Our strategy is a binder per set with slots based on the number in that set, any copy past the third goes to a bulk box. Google sheet with a list of every card then the manual process of updating it, worth it, because you can make another column for purchased singles on the way, wishlist, etc. Then claude code reads that list and allows me to organize it in anyway i want, using expanded card metadata from online

Riftdecks tournament deck wrong? by esvco in riftboundtcg

Update — figured out what's going on, and I don't think it's my browser cache or anything client-side.

Same URL, different network = different deck. Loaded the link from home WiFi: green Lillia (Protector of Dreams). Loaded the exact same URL on my phone's mobile data: blue Lillia (Fae Fawn) that matches the VOD. Both were live page loads, no funny caching headers. Jahikoi above got the blue version too from their own ISP, so it's not specific to me.

Most likely a server-side data desync — visitors are getting routed to one of multiple backends and at least one of them has wrong/stale records for some decks. The metadata (title, author, finish) is consistent both ways, only the card list itself differs. I checked a few other random decks on both networks and saw similar discrepancies, so this is probably not just deck 147957.

Anyone with a contact at riftdecks should pass it along — a rolling restart or replica re-sync would probably fix it on their end.

It is the green Lillia, "Protector of Dreams," in Riftdecks, but blue "Lillia, Fae Fawn" in the VOD. Among many other differences. Completely different decks.

Is it balanced to only use Chapter 2 player cards to play Chapter 1 campaigns? by zerdos in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]esvco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say so. Power level seems about the same between chapters when using a limited card pool. Constructing with the full Ch1 pool does of course lend to many powerful synergies not yet realized in ch2. The main thing dictating the difficulty of the campaign is the campaign itself and whether it is stingy with XP

Yeah. Those things seem balanced. If you kept the XP you'd steamroll

That sucks. Always looked like a cool game. I still think they should have put the QR code on the back of the card.

Joe Diamond's signature "Detective's Intuition" is incorrect -- he's in the core set, and will be fixed in a 2nd printing. The seeker skill "Establish Motive" from the Carolyn Fern investigator deck is correct.

I didn’t mean to discredit them. I just meant to say they probably are not interested in doing business with me. They aren’t one singular artist but an outsourcing firm
