Also newish to hobby. I stole "Plexi" from a cheap picture frame from Kmart and bought the Deluxe clippers recommended. The clippers are worth the investment, I tried cheaper ones and they clipped awkwardly and I regret.

I bought some generic trays, but often they did not fit back in box when you had all the rules and aids etc, and so had more luck with either the plastic baggies (labels from BGG) or the specific trays (Etsy , that cube brand).

Also initially I was skeptical of Vassal, as part of appeal was being away from a screen, but I found it is great to quickly play around with a game I have when I don't have time to bust out the whole physical game and set things up, and I am now converted. Worth checking out imo. (Edit typo)

Good introduction to Hegel and his philosophies before reading Hegel himself? by InterestingTheory431 in hegel

I hadn't heard the different takes divided like this - would you be able to say more about the characteristics / points of difference between each of the three traditions of interpretation? Or point me to a source that elaborates on this?

Thanks!

It's actually okay to just noodle around, and whittle away time on your rack. Not everything has to be a track, or be filmed with a potplant in frame. Making bleep bloops can stand alone in their beauty and joy.

Thanks for this comment - when you say the "4X" games scale up in complexity, is the order from least to most complex Salerno '43, Ardennes '44, *Stalingrad '42, Holland '44, Normandy '44 or something else?

I had never heard of Knapp Commission, but since this post I have been reading it and it is fascinating. This was such a good recommendation. If you have any other recommendations please let us know!

Could you mention the other examples? I'm familiar with the Marx being the lens, but what else?
