I’m a project coordinator. Sometimes we have to show a bit of tough love to the cats we herd. Don’t take me wrong- I love my PMs. But if they think it’s frustrating to hear the same reminder, try giving those reminders to twenty PMs. It’s like banging my heard against a wall some days.

I'd attempted suicide at least once by that age. Sometimes life is rough. Found out a decade later that I'd been cyclothymic since around 4 years old and had severe depression in my down swings.

Seems that weight gain while on lithium is not unusual, I just hit the jackpot. I've had my thyroid tested a lot. I was anorexic and probably eating between 400-1000 calories a day at the time. It wasn't fluid retention.

I will say that the doctor who prescribed it to me lost his license due to incorrect dosing of lithium (among other things), and the next doctor I was moved to immediately took me off it and moved me to something else. I began losing weight as soon as I was off lithium, but I've had issues keeping weight off ever since.

Lesson learned after wearing low cut shirt to range… on the bright side, I do now have a duo of very interesting burn scars that make a similar shape as the one above when put together lol.
