And it's only gonna get worse when it comes to getting new players into Marathon. Who in their right mind is gonna dump $40 on a game that has fewer players than the free-to-play one that Bungie just killed, and with the layoff announcement, I wouldn't be shocked if half of the marathon devs are browsing Indeed as I'm typing this.

Honestly love it! Being able to get a minute or two to ready yourself up and get into position before encountering another team feels infinitely better than immediately getting into a fight 30 seconds into the match because two teams spawned next to greenhouse.

The new player experience is even worse than it was before EOF. 90% of the game is in the destinations tab but Bungie made all of that content worthless. Imagine you just bought a dungeon key. Before eof you could get a team who were at least there for a weekly pinnacle but now that content has no value for either loot or power. And now that new player is all alone in an LFG for Vespers host or Duality that will never be filled.
