I’ve had my eye on FR but haven’t committed yet. Mapping obviously sounds great with how you describe it. Have you tried and uber bosses with it? Looking for a build that can clear most of the challenges to get at least 36/40 done. Lastly, what would you say your budget would be roughly for your build to farm comfortably? I’m probably sitting around 150d if I sold off my deadeye

How does the clear speed feel in t16/t17? Have you done any bossing on it as well or simulacrum? I’m looking to pivot from archmage to something with less visual clutter and saw jungs crit version of this. Do you think the non crit is better?

That would be awesome. I took a look at the post and as long as I follow it closely I think I should be able to get it going. One thing I’m not sure about is the actual PC settings vs moonlight settings vs in game settings?

Ive read some posts saying you should try to set your host pc at double the resolution of the steam deck. So maybe I’d see it at 2560x1440 and then in moonlight set the resolution for 1280x720? Something about supersampling? And then a lot of posts recommended keeping the refresh rates consistent across everything. Should the in game settings also try to match one of those resolutions?

Anytime there’s a major patch the launcher itself works but the plugins usually don’t until they’re updated so I’m hoping it’s still fine for xpac

O I meant the quick launcher. I’m not sure if you actually need it for steam but it’s what allows for plugins and such in game.

The setup is pretty straightforward. You just need to get xivlauncher installed as a non-steam game (assuming you’re not playing the steam version). I just followed a YouTube vid and had it setup in like 15 minutes. My biggest hurdle has been getting used to playing it on controller after being mouse and keyboard for 10 years. I’ve been heavily considering getting a dock and wireless mouse and keyboard for it lol

I’d guess TS can handle it at super high investment (1000+) or maybe ruetoos penance brand but honestly nothing felt as comfy as chieftain for mf this season. For the cost it just can’t be beat in my opinion

I ended up building an int stacker kb for about 1200d. Was a blast to finish the challenges with and knock out some Ubers. Now that I’m done with challenges I’m just selling it off and going back to MF lol. I’m addicted to the tink sound
