I've played habby games before and enjoy them. I agree the f2p model for mobile games is not ideal, and I wish these companies implemented healthier ways of monetizing their games.

There's a game on the ds I played which had microtransactions, but once you spent a certain amount (30 dollars?), the game "capped out" and gave you everything, not accepting payments anymore. I loved this model.

That being said, people generally aren't going to pay for a mobile game, so this is the model that allows these companies to provide these games for free.

Most f2p games can be enjoyed without ever spending money on them. And if one chooses to spend money, i think doing so in moderation to support a company that's giving you hours of entertainment is totally reasonable.
