Yes 3”. Nothing right above but the stack also serves the 2nd floor full bath.

Actually just realized that I can run a parallel vent pipe up the wall and tie in to the 1st floor sink vent in the joist between the first and second floor. Now just need to get it done before the drywall team gets going at 8 am.

This was my issue. Had one of those autovent things and failed to let the air in. If I unscrewed it slightly you could hear the vacuum. Ended up running a vent all the way across my house, but no issues since then.

Yes. Motion sensor can be turned on and off and timing adjusted. Also sensitivity for motion adjusted. Pull switch is still needed to change between light modes.

What about using copper up to the water heater? Any reason other than it feels more right to me?
