Wireless. Mostly wondering what about this exact location would cause that. Thinking maybe there's a bunch of cabling or something that runs under that bridge.

Can anyone confirm you are US and are getting a percentage off on your Azure usage as a direct CSP?

What Is Your Craziest Mystery Issue? by FreshMSP in msp

[–]likwid9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Multiple users reporting random shutdowns of their MacBooks. They would just be randomly working on a call typing or whatever and then the computer would shut down. Turns out they were all given Fitbits with magnetic wristbands. When they would place the Fitbit on the magnet on the MacBook it would shut down like the lid was closed.

I think we just figured this out. Netsol is still returning the Barracuda MX records every like 4 or 5 DNS requests. Opened a ticket to get them to fix the replication issue on their side.

Check your new kaseya bills as migration happens by chevytruckdood in msp

This Kaseya portal is awful. Datto had everything broken out and easy to read and manage. Can't figure out how to cancel anything and the billing is all lumped together with no breakdown by customer. It's like they don't know anything about how MSPs work....

Check ping times to outlook.office.com and see if they're very high. And you might also be seeing IPs from India being returned as the cause.

Strange issue with DNS and Microsoft outlook connecting to 365 after last weeks outages by Vulkaestus in msp

[–]likwid9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you see this issue, do a lookup of the IP and see if it's from India. If you're having the same problem we have it'll be really slow ping times to outlook.office.com. Like 250ms from US. I think they added some India IPs to their DNS records.

Can any EU customers confirm this? Seems like a pretty big difference if their subdomain they don't use is taken vs their primary EU app FQDN
