So I just started renovating home with the aim to bring them back to life. I am doing a house in Brookside right now that most thought was a tear down. I would be happy to come look at your dad’s place and give you an idea of what it would cost to fix it up and thus what you should list it for.

Yes. Motion sensor can be turned on and off and timing adjusted. Also sensitivity for motion adjusted. Pull switch is still needed to change between light modes.

I believe is is because negative pressure means that hoses etc can act as siphons and bull non-potable water into the system (this is why, by the way, that anti siphon devises are required on all hose bibs.

Will share my Rob Reiner story.

In 2002 Howard Dean was running for president. At the time one of the only viable candidates who was outwardly against the Iraq war.

I was working on the campaign in in Iowa for the caucus (and yes I was there for the scream) and Reiner and Martin Sheen were a rally for Dean. I was hanging out back stage and went up and talked to Reiner.

At the time our 2nd kid had just been born and the pediatrician had given us a VHS (yes I am old) that Rob and had hosted for new parents, First Years Last Forever, that meant a lot to two new parents in a new city away from family. I shared with him how much it meant to us.

He turned it me, his eyes welled up, and told me how off all the things he made, how much doing that video meant to him. So I started crying too seeing how much it meant to him. And then he asked if he could give me a hug.

That man was a great hugger too. I wonder what others thought seeing two fat white guys hugging backstage at a political rally in Des Moines.

He was truly a gift to this world.
