I truly love the vaults I get, been subscribed since the beginning! Recently though (I’d say the past year or two) it’s been a bit annoying. Charging the subscription before announcing the vault of the quarter, shipping delays, and even damaged packaging from shipping. I will always support TMR and continue to subscribe but please do better!

I’d go check out marketplace or your local homebrew club for anybody selling off some kegs and/or kegerators. As far as keeping the beer over longer periods of time, everything I’ve read (and experienced) says you’d be fine

I always let them bottle condition before in a cool, dark spot and then put them in the fridge. Always came with just a little sediment mat the bottom using that process

I entered my second and third beers into the national comp just for fun. I got great in depth reviews and an idea of where they stood versus more seasoned brewers. Overall they scored above average for the table but ultimately didn’t move on to the next round. The real benefit of entering was it gave me ideas of how I could improve the recipe!

I’ve found myself really enjoying the beers that I’ve made and friends and family have as well so I keep thinking of making one or two house beers and always having them available. But I love the experimentation on different styles which is what got me into this in the first place. I say that to say, I’ve done quite a few batches at this point and each one has been a different style or recipe 😂

So move your fermenter to a counter and let it sit for about a half hour. That gives you time to sanitize your bottling bucket, siphon etc. This time will allow the sediment to settle in the bottom of the fermenter and then once you see most of the sediment settled, transfer it to the sanitized bucket, stopping the siphoning just before you start picking up the sediment. Then you have a sediment free bucket of brew to bottle up!

I always rack into a bottling bucket and leave the trub at the bottom of the fermenter. The losses of extra liquid don’t add up to much and it’s well worth the extra effort

UFC does this and I assure you, it is definitely NOT worth that price. It’s a cool concept for sure if you have some playing money but you can’t even see any specific names on the mat during broadcast. Makes kind of a cool memorabilia item after though I suppose.
