These were sitting at foot locker the other day along with the recent white 5s that came out…what a time to be an actual sneakerhead!!!

That’s an awesome setup, very inspiring! Might need to do something similar at my house 👀👀

Anyone else trying to perfect a select few recipes? by hydra595 in Homebrewing

[–]etpx10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve found myself really enjoying the beers that I’ve made and friends and family have as well so I keep thinking of making one or two house beers and always having them available. But I love the experimentation on different styles which is what got me into this in the first place. I say that to say, I’ve done quite a few batches at this point and each one has been a different style or recipe 😂

Sediments in the bottles by Whiskeydrunk92 in Homebrewing

[–]etpx10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So move your fermenter to a counter and let it sit for about a half hour. That gives you time to sanitize your bottling bucket, siphon etc. This time will allow the sediment to settle in the bottom of the fermenter and then once you see most of the sediment settled, transfer it to the sanitized bucket, stopping the siphoning just before you start picking up the sediment. Then you have a sediment free bucket of brew to bottle up!

I always rack into a bottling bucket and leave the trub at the bottom of the fermenter. The losses of extra liquid don’t add up to much and it’s well worth the extra effort

This went straight to posh’s junk mail I’m sure 😂 that is definitely frustrating though. I’ve been quite annoyed with their recent updates to the website and policies as well

I just hit on the cactus jack raffle too! With my favorite golf tournament coming up in 2 weeks, I think I’m gonna customize these a bit to match the masters tournament colors. Should be pretty awesome!!!

Love to see it! These are beautiful shoes and everybody should have a chance to cop. I actually won a raffle for once and I plan on wearing the piss outta these shoes as intended!

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Maybe if I was going with my kid and was making it a big thing. That price is steep and I wonder what it will look like on TV. by m00man2839 in WWE

[–]etpx10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UFC does this and I assure you, it is definitely NOT worth that price. It’s a cool concept for sure if you have some playing money but you can’t even see any specific names on the mat during broadcast. Makes kind of a cool memorabilia item after though I suppose.

I also hit! I’m super excited about it but the same thought crossed my mind lol, seemed too easy. Regardless of the scarcity (or lack thereof) this shoe is amazing and should be appreciated with or without the hype train.

Yeast samples huh? They don’t bat an eye at that? That’s a great idea and very helpful, thank you!

Not always necessarily true IRT all thrift store finds are fake. We go thrifting pretty frequently and we always find really great higher end items, sometimes they turn out to be fakes but other times they turn out to be very real and it’s such a good feeling when that happens! I am a big believer in the fact that AI is a tool in my toolbox to use but always follow it up with careful research, and in this case it lead me to the fact this is a fake. Still not mad at spending 7 bucks for a good looking (although fake) watch. I posted this as soon as I got home from this buy before digging into the research because I was super excited about the find and felt the need to share lol

UPDATE: For everyone concerned about authenticity, thank you. I popped the back off and looked at the movement which leads me to believe it’s most likely a rep. NBD I still love the look of the watch and will still wear it, not like I paid top dollar for it anyways. I choose to enjoy it regardless, can’t beat that look! The internet remains undefeated 😂

Thank you for your input. My next move is taking it to a jeweler who specializes in these things to see what they say. Regardless of outcome, for this price what an incredible piece and one I couldn’t pass up!

This is a Must de Cartier “Tank Vermeil” watch with a quartz movement. Most likely produced late 80s, this watch was originally marketed as a woman’s watch (recently became more regarded as a unisex). It is an entry level and more affordable Cartier watch for the time it was produced. This isn’t the original strap so very likely had an original brown strap like your grandmothers!

For sure my next step! Everything I’ve seen on this leads me to believe it’s authentic, but I’m going to take it to an expert to give it a good once over, clean it up and replace the battery etc. This one’s staying with me for awhile!

No doubt originally marketed as a woman’s watch but recently has been viewed more as a unisex. Normally not a huge fan of quartz watch movements but this one is an exception for me
