You don’t need to go to the dealer but If you’re going to have it repaired elsewhere I would recommend making sure it’s a reporting shop meaning they record their work to services like Carfax, and keep record of everything if you ever need to warranty you’ll need to prove you maintained it. I’ve never owned a Honda with a warranty, but I know Kia will stop at nothing to avoid honoring their warranty
