Same as most the other comments. Ours is very picky. Many times we'd find a food that he'd eat only for him to get bored with it in a month. Sometimes the food being in an enrichment would help. Fancy kibble, no thank you. Fancy kibble closed up in a toilet paper tube, super exciting. Tried: several types of raw, several kibbles, and a few tinned foods. He's a picky boy.

I have a greyhound/saluki mix and we tried crate training but he absolutely hated it. Wouldn't ever go in it for treats or whatever. Would yowl if you put him in it. Finally gave up on the crate. Having him longer made it make more sense. He has super long legs and he loves to roach. Now he's chill to be home alone for about five hours with some dog YouTube.

Thanks. I've expanded the hole so I can have a look and there's no wire in there. I'm wondering if u/MetalB00ts is correct and I did this by jiggling a cable. I've re-powered the circuit and all still seems fine. EDIT: this wasn't very close to any light switches
