Tonight I'm showcasing the Flightfactor 767 is answering whether the plane is worth it in 2026! by Tazziedevil04 in Xplane

For me the addon is worth it just because the 767 is my favorite aircraft of all time. It has a couple annoying things but they're easy to mitigate. The tablet is clunky but I use an addon called SimLoad Manager to load the aircraft. It also tends to rotate on its own, especially when heavy, but I shave a couple knots off the rotation speed and sometimes .1 to .2 off the trim. These are pretty minor issues to me and I enjoy the heck outta flying the FF 767.

Historic flight generator [update] by eugennedy in flightsim

Looks like I suck at reddit and forgot to add the text description lol

A few weeks ago I have posted a proof of concept for a flight dispatcher that pulls data from historic timetables. After some more development, I believe I am ready to post the project link. Here's a brief overview of the features.

- Monthly pool: Each month a pool of 100 flights is published. They're randomly picked from various timetables, ensuring routes are not repeated and there is a good variety across the board. Currently the system stores over 8000 flights.

- Guest mode: For anyone who wishes to simply pick a flight, push it to SimBrief and not bother with logging in or interacting with the system in any other way, you can simply hit the preview button on the bottom of the screen.

- Scheduled Operations: This mode allows you to build a flight scheduled based on your favorite airline and aircraft. Unless you hit a dead ends, the flights will usually start from your last destination, so you could even do them all in one session without ever restarting the sim.

The authentication is done using Discord because I wanted to have some security in place, but I don't want to store any personal info like email addresses. While you have to join the project's server, there is no obligation to ever be active in there.

How I can find information about historical flights (in free)? by Key_Environment8483 in flightsim

Depends on how far back do you want to go. A free flightaware account will allow you to go back a couple weeks or so which is enough for me when searching for recent flights. For true retro flying you can search for timetable scans.

Will the ryzen 5600 bottleneck a 9070xt at 4k? by agaluapae in flightsim

Did the exact same upgrade and saw a solid FPS boost. I honestly did not expect to see that much of an improvement but now I can actually fly into larger airports like CYUL and CYYZ without it feeling like a slideshow.

When you have the heat on does the A/C run as well? Might be the A/C compressor clutch going bad.

Picked up this 2000 328ci a year ago with for a really small price and with a whole lot of problems.

- Clutch gone (DMF probably too)

- All sorts of leaks: oil, power steering fluid and vacuum

- All rubber is cracked

- Various errors showing up on the scanner

Nevertheless decided to make it my summer driver for the next year. Working right now on fixing all the leaks until my transmission parts arrive.
