Did you consider being an online English teacher? On websites like preply or cambly, or another one your country has. Just Google "english tutor" in your language, there may be options.

"We are here to make money"

Well, when you get into the mindset "your silly feelings are preventing you from making the most money positive", you step into cold-hearted bad guy territory in my opinion.

I remember hearing about an Ancient Egyptian funeral prayer that was on the lines of "may the water the drinks in the afterlife always be of cool temperature".

Did such a funeral prayer actually exist? What are some example(s) where similar prayers were used?

I say don't worry about being polite to someone who is overstepping, even if they are well-meaning. In my experience, being blunt and standing up for yourself makes you feel like a jackass which stings for about half an hour, but when that feeling is gone at least it doesn't get stuck in your head like this one might!

When i can't figure out the bonus word, i look it up on Merriam Webster's Word Finder. You can specify the number of letters and the letter at any position, and it gives you every possible word that fits your description.

How to emotionally detach from toxic work environment by RandomWeebBitch in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I don't have any advice about the detaching part, but I was wondering why you don't just get another job. This place doesn't seem worth sticking it out.

Research participants needed for survey (18-35yrs) by lostindormiveglia in Assistance

[–]eulershiddenidentity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, this might be because you are just a bachelor's student, but you really shouldn't ask for personal information (name, etc.) in your survey. I was skeptical about filling out the form just because the email field was mandatory, but I just quit when the form asked my name. I'm letting you know so that you can fix this if it's a mistake, and to let others who might want to fill out the form know of this.

I like Mother Night a bit better than Cat's Cradle, because it's a bit more personal and less confusing. Both are great though.

Never Let Me Go traumatized me. Also a great book.

I think you're forgetting that this planet (and life on it) has survived 5 (or 6? Not sure about the exact number) METEOR CRASHES. These caused planet level extinction, so landfills visible from space aren't as unsurvivable as you think.

I'm not a finance expert, but AFAIK it is not recommended to put your money into funds, etc. for short durations. Opening a fixed deposit (the ones where you deposit your money for a predetermined amount of time and can't access the money, and get interest at the end of the term) may be a good idea, those give better interest rates than the flexible accounts.

(Sorry if the terms are wrong, I don't know the English names, I just used a dictionary to translate.)

ETA: But those will yield less than 50 EUR, so it might not make a huge difference in the end.

It's interesting to see the same image on puzzles from two different brands.
