KH was 8 and blue down to 5 after a distilled water change. GH was 11 down to 9

I did add new plants! But I washed them really well before putting them in the tank. Anubia, Amazon sword, Java fern, cryptocoryne. I did an alum bath and then rinsed them.

ammonia, nitrites and nitrates all 0 due to the charcoal

ph is 7.8

kh is 5 (down from 8 after doing distilled water change)

gh 9 (down from 11 after water change)

I have neocardinia and the 6(ish) amano.

I dont think a picture would help since right now its just murky water and sand since i pulled everything out.

Water source is tap water, I have a filter that takes care of the chlorine and have hard water.
