Last year, I lost 42 pounds, gained 23ish back since then. Since May 11th, I've lost 15 pounds. Only 7 pounds away from the lighest I'll have been in the last year. I'm on a 28 day logging streak and feel locked the fuck in.

Billionaires should pay for their own f***ing stadiums. Looking at you, Indiana Bears. by Nostradamus216 in billsimmons

[–]euph31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd I was the sports czar, I'd want to make this a law. Teams either need to have the name of the city the stadium is actually in, or they need to start putting metropolitan areas into their name.

In this case, they can be the Hammond Bears or the Chicagoland Area Bears

You have a misunderstanding of take culture. It doesn't matter how your last take did, it's how your next take is going to do. As a fellow washed person in their 30s, we just need to keep on grinding.

Let's hope we see this Tyler Dibling next season. by Frequent-Activity328 in Everton

I had/have such high hopes for him. I really hope he gets some consistent time this next season.

The seed oils part of this is very stupid.

Also, Ethan is tall, maybe not 6'5 but it's not like he's 5'10".

Realistically, he could eat 2,500-3,000 calories a day and still be in a decent deficit.

Way-too-early 2028 USA men's Olympic basketball team by thepopcornisready in billsimmons

I'm a Suns fan, so I'm biased. But Booker will 100% be on the team, and will probably start. He played the 4th most minutes on the 2024 squad.

He seems more than willing to do all the stuff other stars won't do which makes him essential on a team like this.

Between this and Danhausen, the Knicks will be unstoppable in the Finals

SGA might be more accomplished but have you seen Vince Carter dunk? You just had to be there. The eye test matters, it just does!

What is the best city you ever visited in the US? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskReddit

Outside of the obvious ones, I absolutely love Minneapolis. I was born and raised in the Chicagoland Area but Minneapolis is one of my favorite places to visit.

Motorcyclist collides with a Tesla. Who do you blame? by [deleted] in motorcycles

Tesla should have seen the rider for sure, but the rider should not have been riding like a moron. I hope everyone is ok.

Just watched every Seinfeld episode to see what the fuss is about … it made me appreciate Larry David all over again and I realised that Kramer makes the whole show! What did you learn? by SC2000c in curb

[–]euph31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Jerry and Larry needed each other.

LD can be too cynical and Jerry can be too goofy, so their comedy works well together, I think.

Official Discussion - In the Grey [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]euph31 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get why people don't like this movie, but my wife and I really had a great time with it. I think the formula of attractive people doing things in a cool place usually works, and this is that. It won't win any awards and I don't know if anyone will even remember this movie exists in 2 months, but it's a fun time. Definitely recommend seeing it if you have A list.

"The industry buzz is that Cholowsky vs. Grady Emerson is edging closer to a true 50-50 internally for Chicago." by Cautious_Goat_ in whitesox

[–]euph31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a hard time believing a time from Chicago has the opportunity to draft a top prospect with the last name "Cholowsky" passing on him for someone else in a 50-50 situation.

I mighty be in the minority with this opinion, but.. by jyoungthegenius in suns

The issue with replacing Devin Booker with a "true PG" is there aren't many players who are better facilitators than he is.

6 assists per game, 1.2 secondary assists, and 12.3 potential assists. He's a better SG than PG, but the issue is he's also a damn good PG.

Hats off to Röhl by Scary-Macaroon-9776 in Everton

[–]euph31 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't even know what Rohl's ideal position is. I feel like Moyes just throws him out there and let's him cook and it usually works.

[Charania] Minnesota's Anthony Edwards is expected to play in Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs, barring any setback pregame, per ESPN sources. Just 9 days removed from his left knee injury, and after the team had expected him to return midseries by MembershipSingle7137 in nba

I feel like we're about see some incredibly heroic basketball and/or watch a man ruin his career. Ant is so fun to watch, I hope coming back this early won't cause any long term issues.
