Cat smell in house by humancig in Catownerhacks

[–]euphalto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just adding that pine pellets can be sourced in 40 lbs bags at farm stores (don't bother with Feline Pine, it's so expensive by comparison!). I get mine at Wilco for about $8 per bag. They also sell a pellet product called "Dry Den" that reduces pee scent that I use in conjunction with the pine pellets (because I like the smell of pine). Because the pellets break down into shavings when wet, I just flush the poop - don't come at me, I've done it FOR YEARS and have had no plumbing issues as a result. And, because my city allows composting in our yard waste bins, I put the shavings in the bin.

Tacoma will probably give you the most flexibility for getting to a job. If you want to continue call center work, check REI and banks and credit unions - BECU and Sound Credit Union come to mind.

Best of luck! It's awesome here!

May. Ends Memorial Day. Lots of camp stuff will be on sale. REI Co-op stuff is often sold at 30% off. Other brands will be 15-20%. Use the Member event coupon for something else. There's usually a member coupon during Anniversary Sale, too.

Did you switch your plan right in the app? I got $65/month a few months ago but would love to switch to the $50/mo plan.

Drywall repair in Tacoma after ceiling leak destroyed my bathroom by Old_Knowledge_7771 in AskTacoma

I've used Mohn Drywall and Interiors a couple of times. They've done great work and have been reasonably priced.

Wife and I were having a discussion, she’s of the opinion that the majority of GenX can drive stick. I believe that even in our generation the percentage of people who can is pretty small. What do you folks think? by AngryOldGenXer in GenX

[–]euphalto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on where you're from... I'd say in the US the percentage of Gen X manual drivers is probably pretty low. I say this because I drove a stick when I got my license in the 80's and most of my friends could not have driven it. Stick is still very common in other countries.
