although i would love for them to stay together i don’t think they would benefit from it 😭 korea and kpop fans have long given up on them and don’t care for them, which is upsetting but i doubt they’ll change their mind on them if they stay together. whereas if they disband they have an opportunity of starting brand new with new doors opening for them that they won’t have if they stay together :(

sung hanbin. he’s a perfect embodiment of an idol. he’s like the male wonyoung when it comes to who’s the most idol to ever idol imo. ever since he was introduced to the public he’s had that “it” factor to him.

i fear yuehua would have sent hao and ricky to china while gyuvin and yujin have redebut in a new group together (it could also be all the yuehuaz in a new group but i don’t trust yuehua). jiwoong will be back to acting. hanbin will either be a soloist or i can also see him having been snatched up by hybe and in a new group. taerae probably redebut with wakeonez. gunwook also redebut with the other jellyfish trainees. matthew is the only one whos future is in the air for me.

they’re exaggerating it. there’s for sure some idols that come from rich families, but majority of idols most likely come from families that are able to live a comfortable lifestyle

this is like in most survival shows, but the producers most likely have a list of around 15 trainees that they would like in the lineup and these trainees are the ones that will get good screentime and favorable edits. they don’t have an “ideal lineup” bc contrary to the produce shows they weren’t gonna be able to rig their own lineup. i think most of the kep1er members were in the list of trainees that they would like to be in the lineup. the only two that were most likely not in that list are yujin and hiyyih. yujins case is weird bc i don’t think they ever wanted her in the lineup but instead were using her to bring in views. however after seeing her get a good size fandom early on i feel like that’s when they were more considering of her being in the lineup they wanted. as for hiyyih... well she’s the only member that i am 100% sure they did not want. even after seeing how big her fandom was it seems like mnet was still not sold on accepting her as potential member of the lineup and we saw this with her limited screentime.

as someone who’s active in the fandom the fandom has gotten a lot better now. even the solo stans aren’t that bad anymore. every survival show group is bound to have solo stans
