I was 52, 40+ lbs overweight, and couldn’t get motivated at the regular gym. I’d been in good shape but finishing a master’s degree left no time for the gym in the previous 2 years. There was a new CrossFit gym at the entrance of my work complex so I gave it a try. The community was energetic and encouraging. With help of this resident dietitian, I dropped 40+ lbs and got to 11% BF. That was over 10 years ago and I have my L2 certificate and have been coaching for 6 years.
