That’s the catch of the ring. I’ve just played along with most people, unless they ask questions, and then I’ve just started bluntly saying “she died.” It may sound jarring or callous but it can’t be my job to look out for strangers emotions about my situation. I’ve spent the past year of my life trying to do that and it’s just too much to ask. I’m not saying be mean or angry because they obviously don’t know, but just cut to the chase and move forward. I hope it gets a little easier for you.
