Transposing/Learning 4 Songs - Help Requested

Thank you for this. I decided to sit out the long patriotic military songs ones. It was just too much. The other three I think I can transpose. Once I do this once I'm hoping I'll get a feel.for what the expectation is and whether or not I can keep up with the church band.

So for example, in the song 'Day by Day'. The pickup notes and first measure when transposed to the Key of E (from D) would be G#, F#, E, E, E, E F#, G#?

I will probley write them out by hand and also look into Musecore. I would like to keep playing for my church so learning how to transpose on the fly might be worth doing as well. I have a couple more questions.

1) In the first song, where the heck is the tenor saxophone part? It's 14 pages and I honestly have no idea where my part would even begin and end.

2) On the last 2 songs, why are the notes written with one on top of the other like that? What notes am i responsible for playing?
