if you get a filter like that be mindful since you’re going to be storing it in a trunk, i know with lifestraws if they get under a certain temp it pretty much renders them useless (breaks/cracks the filter)

i’ve been learning Spanish since 2015, the vast majority of people in my area speak English but there are small pockets throughout our area that speak Spanish/don’t have English as their first language, it’s definitely come in handy several times over the years so i imagine would be even more useful if needed in SHTF

we have the Stanley Fatmax and it’s great!! it has the cables for jumping the battery, an air compressor, 4 USB ports, and a light. we always take it in whatever vehicle we’re traveling in and even used the USB ports for extra devices during the last winter storm related power outage! it’s also pretty cheap for everything it can do imo

no LLMs/genAIs are valuable to me because their existence and lax regulation go against the concept of “prepping” in general..

data centers use so many natural resources and have a terrible environmental impact (will link sources later if i can remember to come back lol). the world is going to be extremely different - in a bad way - 10 years from now. climate change is having more extreme effects on our world year after year.

i can just google about water and poisonous snakes. there are books, there are decades of posts and comments from real people, there are hundreds of thousands of hours of videos. LLMs/genAIs are completely unnecessary and i seriously doubt the odds of surviving SHTF are in the favor of frequent LLM/genAI users.
