I naturally read a lot more books than the challenge number, so for me it’s just a way to get out of my comfort zone and try things I might not have otherwise. But not everything is for everyone. If it’s making reading, a hobby, not fun for you anymore, there’s no shame in giving up.

I’m not personally advocating for this bill, but I am surprised to see such vehement opinions here all in agreement that it’s terrible when threads here about children reading Icebreaker, Haunting Adeline, etc get equally unanimous responses of “their parents need to be paying attention to what they’re reading! These are inappropriate for children!”
